The heavy-duty T1255 Commander® 3 trencher from Vermeer provides the trench digging power needed to cut through solid rock for large-diameter applications. Featuring a Caterpillar C18 ACERT Tier 3 engine with 600 hp (447 kW), this heavy-duty trencher can handle cross-country digs.

Extra-wide conveyor opening

Heavy-duty trencher handles pipeline projects with high-volume spoil removal through an extra-wide 36-in (9-cm) dirt conveyor opening.

Rotary power trencher drive motor

Dual rotary power motors provide low-speed high-torque rock cutting performance, giving you superior penetration and lower chain wear.
