Cover Crops
These are the current covercrop legumes we offer. Some of the legumes will winter kill while other survive the winter to fix quick nitrogen the next spring. We purchase our covercrop legume from only a few growers to ensure our customers receive the same varieties each year. So they know what to expect from year to year on their legumes and their cover-crop mix.

These grasses or grains are used to mixes because of their aggressive root system to prevent blowing and eroding soil from happening. Mixtures have an arrangement of 1 to 3 different kinds of grasses or grains included, which are a blend of annual or bi-annual items. These items all can be used for feed if desired.
These have no real family of classification but still, have a purpose. It could act as a pollinator, a wire-worm control item, or an item with a strong taproot which looks pretty in the field.
These time-tested cover-crop mixtures are designed for different cropping rotations.
